Mauch Chunk Lake is a 330-acre impoundment within Mauch Chunk Lake Park in Carbon County. In addition to fishing and boating opportunities, the park has swimming, camping and picnic areas available.

Mauch Chunk Lake Park will open for the season today. The park will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Swimming will be permitted from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The park’s concession stand will also open today.
