Mereruka was a Sixth Dynasty vizier and priest of the Pharaoh Teti, whose pyramid cult he served. In fact, Mereruka’s mastaba is only about 150 feet from the entrance to Teti’s pyramid.

On the northern side of King Teti I’s Pyramid stands the mastaba tomb of Mereruka, king Teti’s vizier and chief justice minister.
