A woman has died and several others have been left injured after a massive wildfire broke out in Aude (Occitanie) yesterday.

Defending champion Michael Woods won the third stage of La Route d'Occitanie on Saturday to move into the overall lead of the cycling race in France with one stage remaining.

In a first for Europe, the south-western French region of Occitanie has made public transport free to those aged between 12 and 26 – a total of one million young people.
