Manitowoc’s public ice skating rink in the 700 block of Quay Street is now closed for the season. The closure comes amid warming temperatures this week reaching into the 40s.

MANITOWOC – Manitowoc Public School District sent a letter to families Jan. 29 addressing recent reports of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in other Wisconsin communities.

The company’s headquarters is in Cedarburg, but the Manitowoc ice cream parlor, 2000 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, with the large statue of Bernice the cow out front, is a local landmark.
