Magnus foils the latest burglary attempt by the phantom thief, and in doing so, discovers the brawler partners with a golden Bakugan. Magnus is now more interested in a brawl, than stopping any crime.

An encounter with Storm and his trick rose leaves Magnus temporarily blinded; Magnus pursues Storm in an attempt to restore his vision; Emily obtains a second Bakugan named Chrissy.
