CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox paid tribute to late closer Bobby Jenks by wearing “45” patches on their uniforms on Thursday night.

With Chase Meidroth landing on the Injured List, the Chicago White Sox are bringing shortstop Jacob Amaya back to the active roster from Triple-A.

Aaron Civale started for the White Sox. He went 6.1 innings, walking two batters and allowing the lone hit, a single to Zach Neto leading off the bottom of the fourth inning. Civale struck out eight.
