The M2 junction 5 spring 2023 diversion map "To join the Sheppey-bound carriageway, turn left, go to M20 junction 7 and the return on the A249 Sheppey-bound.".

The A249 Sheppey Crossing will close in both directions from 8pm to 6am for barrier works. The A282 northbound West Tunnel at the Dartford Crossing will be closed from 9pm to 5.30am for tunnel works.

During the closure, a diversion will be in place via Sheppey Way, A2, Hoath Way, and M2 J5. Non-motorway traffic please use Sheppey Way, A2, A229, A249.
