Anzalone, entering his ninth year in the NFL, is entering the final year of a three-year, $18.75 million contract he signed with the Lions in 2023.

The Lions signed Derrick Barnes to a three-year, $24 million deal this offseason. Anzalone said he was happy when the Lions re-signed his good friend, who missed most of last season with a torn MCL.
