It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year, and 250 households will get the chance to pick out the perfect Christmas tree from Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
Leaves are falling and Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away, which means the season for cutting your own Christmas tree on public lands is fast approaching.
The tree cut is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the designated area of the Nott Creek Trail. Power tools are not allowed and trees must be carried back to your vehicle.
