The State of Michigan's department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) says many people who own Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) in the state have received an illegitimate mailing.

LARA warns of a scam hitting the mailboxes of Michigan corporations and limited liability companies from a non-governmental entity trying to collect annual statement fees.
