CHEYENNE – United States Bureau of Reclamation operations are lowering Guernsey below the usable boat ramp levels before Labor Day weekend to begin repairs on the Guernsey Power Plant intake gate.

MILLS — A federal agency plans to lower the water level of Guernsey Reservoir to prepare for an annual silt run that sends water to irrigation districts and that may also be used for hydropower.

MILLS, Wyo. (KIFI) — The Wyoming Area Office of the Bureau of Reclamation in Mills, Wyo., will be lowering the water level in Guernsey Reservoir in preparation for the annual silt run.
