LaVar Ball, the patriarch of the Ball family - which includes sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo - recently had to have his foot amputated. The elder Ball, 57, was the co-founder and chief executive officer of the sports apparel company Big Baller Brand.

LaVar Ball has had his right foot amputated after suffering from a serious medical issue, according to TMZ. The 57-year-old father of basketball stars Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, is reportedly ‘in great spirits and doing well’ despite the operation.
