The signing seemed to make sense, it would reunite Lowry with Nick Nurse, who he had lifted the Larry O'Brien trophy with back in 2019, as well as returning him back to his hometown of Philadelphia.

In 35 games last season, Lowry averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists -- all career lows. He's coming off a one-year, $3.3 million deal with Philadelphia.
