Long columns of North Korean armour artillery and supporting vehicles were spotted moving up to the front held by the American on two lines from the junction town of Changhowon.

The deployment comes just weeks after the retirement of all 24 A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft from the region. Known as “tank killers,” the A-10s were stationed to counter North Korean armor.
