Now Francik needed just three outs to help her team run rule a dangerous Virginia Tech team. She needed less than 10 pitches to secure the win and no hit VT for the first time since 2018.

Francik has 1.64 ERA, and Danley has 1.89. Francik leads the team with 76 strikeouts and seven saves, and she has a 9-2 record. Danley is second on the team with 66 strikeouts and is 11-1.

Francik is the first true freshman to throw a no-hitter since Lacey Waldrop on February 12, 2012, against Ole Miss. She retired 18 of 21 batters faced, and struck out three.
