During the chaos, law enforcement officers carried the US Marshals K9 to a Texas DPS helicopter so that it could be rushed to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, the K9 was involved in a SWAT situation on Estalote Avenue in Harvey.
