TIERNEY The Honorable Joseph M. “Sonny”, of Hyde Park and South Boston, December 13, 2009 died at home surrounded by his loving wife and family after a brief illness with cancer at the age of 68.

Tierney easily won re-election on Oct. 22, 2018, taking 81 per cent of the votes in Beacon Hill-Cyrville compared to Schurter’s 19 per cent. The voter turnout for the ward was 38 per cent.

Kevin Tierney, a pioneering Montreal film producer and writer, has died. His credits include Bon Cop, Bad Cop, the highest-grossing producer ever made.
