Allen, who spent six seasons with the Vikings, is among the final 15 modern-era candidates for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He reached the final 10 in voting last year.

Those who have been chosen for enshrinement as a part of this class will be honored during Super Bowl weekend. The Vikings acquired Allen from the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the 2008 NFL Draft for a first-round pick and a pair of third-round selections.

Needless to say, Allen has the credentials to make the Hall of Fame. He is a four-time All-Pro with the Minnesota Vikings after being a fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs
