Lil Uzi Vert had a phone thrown at them by girlfriend JT of rap group City Girls at the BET Awards on Sunday night as her team denied that their quarrel was caused by fellow female rapper Ice Spice.

Video of JT throwing her phone at Lil Uzi Vert while in the BET Award audience spread across the internet. Almost instantly, rumors began to spread with many assuming the fight was over Ice Spice.

Ice Spice, 23, and Lil Uzi Vert, 27, both performed at the awards ceremony prior to the incident, so he was likely just complimenting her stage presence. They were also sitting next to each other.
