He said: “We have established the fact that the acquisition of the Circular Road was done in two phases; one in 2006, which is 150metres left and right and extended to 500 metres in 2018.

He said of the ongoing road projects in the state, the 110-kilometre Ibadan Circular Road, named after former Governor Rasidi Ladoja, stands out as the star project.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 32.2km road is the South-East segment of the 110-km circular road, designed to encircle Ibadan, the state capital.

He said that of all the ongoing road projects in the state, the 110-kilometre Ibadan Circular Road, named after former Governor Rashidi Ladoja, stands out as the star project.

A Special Taskforce set up by the Oyo State Government to get rid of shanties and other sorts of illegalities on major roads in the state.

The suspects ignored several warnings and deadlines issued to black market operators to stop the illegal business.

The statement indicated that the re-verification, to run from Sunday to Dec. 22, would take place at Islamic High School, Basorun, Orita-Basorun, Ibadan at 10.00 a.m. daily.
