Arkansas authorities have arrested 4 women in connection to a human trafficking operation that targeted 12 massage parlors — 17 victims were rescued as a result.

Across 12 locations in Jonesboro, Russellville, Hot Springs, Rogers, Harrison, and Little Rock, Operation Obscured Vision, headed by Attorney General Tim Griffin, arrested three people for 2nd-degree promoting prostitution and one for 2nd-degree sexual assault. They offered 17 victims help from advocates.

Attorney General Tim Griffin has announced the launch of Operation Obscured Vision, a statewide initiative targeting human trafficking through massage parlors.

Griffin said that Operation Obscured Vision began in January and in a matter of days 17 victims were identified.

According to reports, the operation successfully helped provide aid to 16 victims and led to the arrest of four people.
