Hitachi Koki India, a Japanese power tools company, has nominated Dattatraya Joshi to its board, and has elevated him to the position of Executive Director and Secretary of the company.

Hitachi has agreed to continue negotiating with the UK over the future of a ¥3tn (£20bn) nuclear plant in Wales, in response to enhanced terms offered by the British government.
