The costume in question is based on the Earth-666 version of Hawkeye, which first appeared in 2012’s Secret Avengers #33. This version makes Hawkeye look like… an actual hawk!

Hawkeye has finished filming, and is expected to land on Disney Plus later this year. It co-stars Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, the new Hawkeye, as Barton trains up a new archer.

On Thursday, January 19th, players will be able to snag new costumes for both versions of Hawkeye. The Kate Bishop costume is a fairly obscure one, first appearing in Marvel’s 2015 Secret Wars ...

And in the new Marvel Disney+ series, Hawkeye, he seems to have fully taken on the grumpy old man persona. But, in the comic books, Hawkeye’s costume didn’t reflect his MCU personality.

Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has taken to Twitter to share his early, more comic-accurate design for the costume donned by Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) in the Disney+ Hawkeye series.
