However, that's set to change with the release of Chrome 85. As Android Police reports, even though Google has supported 64-bit builds of Android since 5.0, Chrome for Android has remained 32-bit.

Chrome has only been offered for Android devices in 32-bit form, but that is now changing. Chrome 85 finally brings a 64-bit version of the popular browser to Android devices.

Google’s own rules say that all apps must be updated to 64-bit by August 1, 2021, which means it will most definitely need to update Chrome for users outside of just those with Android 10 installed.

Chrome 85 for Android is currently set to launch in late August. Google has yet to officially note that 64-bit support is coming in that release, and it could always be pushed to a later version.
