Google Chat’s new icon gets a four-color style The latest icon follows the four-color design seen in all other Google Workspace apps (Keep, Tasks, and Voice).

Google Chat’s latest update on the Google Play Store was made on Dec. 5, so this change looks like it’s being enabled on Google’s server-side backend.

Before this update, Google Chat mobile apps had two tabs on the bottom navigation bar—Chat and Spaces. Google is updating the app with a four-tabbed navigation that corresponds to the web redesign.
