Ghost riders who came from the sky, driven by demons. For Texans, that’s the origin myth of one of the staples of American song: “ (Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend”.
Bing Crosby (1949) After the first release of “ (Ghost) Riders in the Sky” by the Bob Geddins Cavaliers in 1948, Burl Ives was the next artist to cover the song in March of 1949.
Nicknamed “Ghost Riders in the Sky,” the mission is part of a Nasa-industry partnership aimed at reducing costs and supporting Artemis, the program designed to return astronauts to the Moon.
