CBS confirmed on May 15, 2025, that Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage will return for a second season in its 2025–26 lineup.

Jordan, who plays Georgie Cooper on the CBS sitcom, announced in an Instagram post on Sunday, January 5, that he was engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Weeks, after almost four years of dating.

By narrowing its focus to a few characters, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage is already handling its story better than Young Sheldon.
