A Jersey fundraiser finished her challenge to run 5k (3.2miles) every day through the month of July in memory of her mum.

Angel Mums made the shortlist for last week's awards having received 18,000 nominations after raising more than £70,000 for completing a skydive fundraiser for the Tessa Jowell Foundation last year.

The mum of two said she was in and out of hospital "three or four times a year" as a child. "I was schooled, pretty much, at Bristol Children's Hospital," she said.
