French automotive group Faurecia and German car parts supplier Hella said on Monday that they have merged into a group called Forvia, which aims for its sales revenue to reach $37.72 billion in 2025.
Through Forvia, both companies will keep their legal names as Faurecia SE and Hella GmbH & Co KGaA. They will communicate with Forvia used as an umbrella name.
Schäferbarthold had been CFO at the German lighting supplier since 2016. Favre is a former executive at Faurecia, which purchased Hella in 2022 and now operates as Forvia.
On February 1, Faurecia completed the USD 6 billion acquisition of a controlling interest in Hella, announced on 14 August, 2021. Post this, Faurecia secured a total of 79.5% of the shares in Hella.
