ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany Symphony Orchestra will be holding a free concert series, titled “Water Music NY: More Voices Festival,” this July to celebrate the Erie Canal bicentennial.

Members of the Fort Plain Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at Lock 15 on the New York canal system, for a dog that had fallen into the water, and crawled into a hole in the lock wall.

The Fort Plain Fire Department was called to Lock 15 at 9:05 in the morning on Wednesday. A dog had accidentally fallen over the canal wall and into the water.

Firefighters in Fort Plain rescued a small dog on Thursday morning. The dog fell into the water at Lock 15 on the New York State Canal, and crawled into a small hole on the lock wall.
