TORONTO - Authorities in Toronto are assuring the public that street-food trucks are subject to strict safety standards. Their comments come after a food truck propane tank blew up in Philadelphia.

Authorities reopened Loop 303 after a food truck crashed and closed a portion of the northbound lanes in Goodyear for a couple of hours, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, firefighters were called around 7:12 a.m. to the 500 block of Main Street for reports that a food truck vendor's propane tank exploded.
