Plans have been submitted for a council’s radical multimillion-pound scheme to revamp a town centre bus station - despite fears it will encourage drug users and anti-social behaviour.

Changes to Stagecoach bus routes in parts of Kent come into force on Sunday. Most services in the Dover, Folkestone and Romney Marsh areas will have new timetables and some routes will be amended.

Buses will leave Folkestone West half-hourly at 10:00 BST, with a 90-minute break between services at lunch and mid-afternoon. The last bus will return from Folkestone Harbour at 19:45.
