3D Tiles is an open standard for massive, heterogeneous 3D geospatial datasets such as point clouds, buildings, photogrammetry and vector data. It is built on top of glTF and other 3D data types.
To do this, the team 3D printed terra-cotta clay into the reef tile pattern and fired it to 2,057 degrees Fahrenheit to produce the 128 tiles they’ve made so far.
Succulents and other plants grow from the tiles that clad this 3D-printed shed, which was designed to offer a solution for the Bay Area's housing shortage.
