Disney announced Tuesday that Piston Peak National Park will be the "largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom," continuing "the sweeping storytelling tradition that has crossed Liberty Square and Frontierland since opening day."

On Tuesday, Disney announced that the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat will close on July 7 as Disney Imagineers prepare to transform the attractions’ area into “Piston Peak National Park.” The attraction’s theme is set in the Disney and Pixar “Cars” universe.
When "Piston Peak National Park" is done, you'll be able to meet some talking vehicles in a majestic great-outdoors setting.
