The Wichita Fire Department responded to the apartment fire in the 8100 block of E. Central near Rock Rd just before 4 a.m. Friday. Smoke and flames were visible upon arrival.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., fire crews were called to 72 Kains St. after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting an exterior fire on the side of the home.
