In the survey, participants see 12 color terms (Table 1) and must choose one, several, or none of 20 emotion terms, arranged in the form of a wheel (see Figure 1).

For instance, the “Emotion Color Wheel” activity instructs users to draw a big circle and divide it into six sections, then label each with an emotion and draw things that represent that emotion.
