Kyivstar PJSC, Ukraine’s largest mobile operator, signed a deal with Elon Musk’s Starlink to introduce satellite-powered cellular service in the war-torn country in a bid to place telecom infrastructure beyond the reach of Russian attacks.

A new partnership has been forged between SpaceX’ s Starlink, owned by Elon Musk, and Ukraine’s top mobile operator, Kyivstar PJSC. This collaboration aims to provide satellite-based cellular services in Ukraine, enhancing the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.

Elon Musk said Starlink satellite internet is inactive in India, his first comments since authorities seized two of the company's devices in recent weeks, one in an armed conflict zone and another in a drug smuggling bust.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk has said that said Starlink satellite beams were turned off over India. His post came as reaction to claims that the Starlink device was being used in violence hit Manipur.
