Elijah Lewis was shot and killed by Patrick Cooney after an altercation on a Seattle street. Cooney claims he shot in self defense.

Patrick Cooney was found guilty of second-degree murder and first-degree assault in the road rage incident that resulted in the death of Seattle activist Elijah Lewis and injury to his nephew.

Family says Elijah Lewis was taking his 9-year-old nephew to see a monster truck rally for his birthday at the time of the shooting.
