On Monday, the transfer portal opened, and within hours, an overwhelming number of athletes flooded in. One of the tournament's standout players who flew under the radar was Drake's Bennett Stirtz.

Bennett Stirtz, the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2024-25 in his lone season at Drake, will transfer to Iowa, according to a report from Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68.

Former Drake star Tucker DeVries received the same honor last season. Adam Emmenecker earned AP Honorable Mention All-American status in the 2007-08 season.
