Special Victims Unit star Sharon Stone, has passed away. The news was shared by Sharon in an Instagram post on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Dorothy — known as “Dot” among friends — married her husband Joseph Stone in 1950. They remained married until his death in 2009, just before their 60th anniversary, per the Daily Inter Lake.

Dorothy Marie (Paavola) Lake passed away on Nov. 29, 2015 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona, at the age of 96. She was born June 25, 1919 in Hibbing, Minn., to Henry and Vendla (Ketola) Paavola.
