Rosemon first appeared in Digimon Data Squad as the series’ mandatory female humanoid Digimon. She came into existence because of Lilamon going through mega digivolution.

Data Squad – called Savers in Japan – was supposed to be a more mature take on Digimon, made for fans of the series that had started to age into an older demographic.
