Infinity Castle, a new movie coming this year, the first of a trilogy meant to end the series. Now, the first movie has a release date of September 12, 2025 outside of Japan, and no, it’s not simultaneously airing on streaming.

The first part of Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle Arc movie trilogy is set to hit theatres in India on September 12, Crunchyroll announced on Thursday, March 6. The movie will be released in Japanese and English languages in IMAX and other premium large formats.

Crunchyroll announced the trilogy following the release of the final episode of the show’s Season 4 in July last year

A UK release date has officially been confirmed for the first Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie - and fans are gutted to learn it's two months later than Japan. The internationally loved anime, which has so far spanned four seasons and a movie, will end not with a season 5 but a trilogy of films depicting the Infinity Castle arc.

Infinity Castle will hit theaters in Japan on July 18th this summer but the movie has yet to confirm when it will be doing the same in the West and other countries. While it’s a foregone conclusion that the first of the three films will eventually make its way to North America,

The trilogy, which will cover the final arc of the story, will be released in Indian theatres by Crunchyroll later this year

The franchise may replicate that box office success in 2025, because instead of airing a conventional fifth season, Demon Slayer will embark on a new movie trilogy. These three films will cover the Infinity Castle arc from the original Demon Slayer manga by writer and artist Koyoharu Gotouge.

The lead-up to a climactic showdown between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan Kibutsuji (along with his Upper Moons) is nigh, as Sony has locked in the international release dates for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, including Singapore and other territories in the Southeast Asia region.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge, published in Shueisha’s Weekly Jump from February 2016-May 2020. The series with its tragic tale of humans and demons, riveting sword fights,
