DFPS management told the auditor that the department uses multiple programs to monitor the health and safety of the children placed by the SSCC.

The first school KVUE and DFPS visited was Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Tarrytown. This school looks after children 18 months or older. The head of the school, Jeanie Stark, led the way for DFPS.
