Cubie, a mobile messaging app that includes some Draw Something-like features, has landed $1.1 million to focus on growing in the US and Japan.

Right now Cubie, which was started in late March 2012 by husband and wife duo Yenwen Feng and Cjin Cheng, is seeing between 10,000 and 20,000 downloads daily day.
