A cruise ship passenger captured the moment the panel on the water slide shattered mid-ride, sending a burst of water into the public area of the ship.

A passenger has been injured on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship after acrylic glass shattered on a water slide on Thursday.

An acrylic waterslide on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas broke open on Thursday, injuring one passenger and leaving a sizable hole in the bottom of the tubular slide.
