HOUSTON, Texas -- Crayola is about to do something it has never done in its 100-year history. On Friday, the crayon company said it's retiring a color from its classic 24-count box.

But tomorrow, Binney & Smith will celebrate in Easton the 100th anniversary of a product that spans the generations in 2003 as well as it did in 1903: the Crayola brand crayon.
