Kaiju No. 8 Day 2025 revealed the fate of Shonen Jump's monster-hunting franchise -- announcing new characters, monsters and an original story.

Titled “Kaiju No. 8: Relax”, the manga spin-off will focus on what the anime characters do during their time off, which will be a way to inject even more humor into the franchise.

And, honestly, the answer was obvious–the kaiju. Just like the Earth of the Kai-Sei Era, the entire universe, and every planet within, is shaped by its interactions with kaiju.
