The Control Panel is being replaced by the Settings app, according to recent update by Microsoft on its support blog that outlines all of the tools in-built with Windows.
Since the debut of Windows 8 in 2012, Microsoft has been eager to replace the aged Control Panel with the newer Settings app. The transition so far has been slow and gradual.
This may not be a surprise for many Windows users. Since October 2020, Microsoft has been redirecting users away from the Control Panel, goading them to use the Settings app instead.
