The planned 13,633-square-foot Chuck E. Cheese will replace the Irving, Texas-based chain's longtime slightly smaller Volusia County location that was destroyed two years ago during Hurricane Ian.

CEC Entertainment built and opened its Port Orange Chuck E. Cheese restaurant/arcade at 5539 S. Williamson Blvd. in 2013, but the building was destroyed during Hurricane Ian in September 2022.
