The Cayenne's coupe-like body style option was first launched for the 2020 model year and given an initial update together with the rest of the Cayenne lineup for the 2024 model year. This second update is expected to be introduced in 2026, for the 2027 model year in the U.S.

It only seems like five minutes since the ICE Cayenne had a fairly significant overhaul designed to keep it feeling fresh for most of the rest of the decade. Porsche introduced some subtle design changes in 2023 for the 2024 model year, and some not-so-subtle ones under the skin, including the welcome return of V8 power for the Cayenne S.

The Porsche Cayenne isn't known as one of the prettiest vehicles ever made, but it nearly got a whole lot worse early on in its life.
